Man I love that orange. Also flabébé is weirder to position than you'd think. Mostly regarding the comparatively huge flower. Still had fun with this after poses were settled on! uwu

Sultana learned Fairy Wind! I hope I did that right. Think of the first image as a 'caught her attention' type thing ahh

Okey-dokes, time to analyze! I'll start off with first stating I love this. I mean, I tend to like tons of artwork here at DA, but this one really made me gasp in delight!
As for Vision, I think this gets a four. Judging from what you said about this piece in the description, you were quite enthusiastic about it. I think judging from the artwork itself, you put a good amount of thought into it. You could have easily done a less unique, more frigid pose for the Pokemon's second depiction, but as you said, positioning it is weirder than one would think, and yet you took the time to actually do so. I love that. I also love how you presented the background. It was a good idea, and I'll get into that more in Technique and Impact. Wether a part of your vision was cartoonism baffles me, however, and I'll get into that in Technique as well.
As for Originality, I can't say this deserves a lot of credit. It's a Pokemon. And a well-known one, at that. And it's learning a move that's also quite well-known, mainly because of how relatively new it is. I hope you see where I'm coming from, I do. I gave you stars, through, because though the basic idea of it has been done before, there are still aspects of it that are fairly rare.
As for Technique, I'm super-duper impressed! I'll start with the actual flabébé. Your style is unique and captivating in several ways. I love, love, love the way you use lines. That crosshatching style you made even gives the flabébé an added sense of realism. Even the bold outline helps this, as it's not perfectly smooth, and really, what living creature is perfectly rounded and smooth? Many artists who draw Pokemon tend to draw them smooth. Even I do that, I admit, but your added lines compliment the entire piece excellently. Now back to the background, I like it. Its simple and has a very refreshing painterly look to it. It doesn't distract from the Pokemon, but rather makes it pop with the use of contrast; warm color on cold color. I also like the way it almost looks like a photograph, and the rest of the picture's background is, well nonexistent. The use of DeviantArt's default background is something I enjoy seeing. It always ends up looking "at peace" with the website. It helps that there is just a slight shadow to separate the two; nice touch. I am, however, conflicted about wether some aspects were meant to achieve a more detailed type of cartoonism, or what, as I mentioned in Vision. That white outline around the Pokemon is... very reminiscent of a sticker. It flattens what was done with your linework and unfortunately defeats the purpose. I can see how you may have been using it as a way to separate the foreground from the background, but that could have been done in a different way. Darker, deeper shading, or perhaps dynamic perspective could've worked, too.
As for overall Impact, you did a good job. There isn't much I can say about this part. It definitely caught my eye and impresses me, but it isn't a picture I'd be particularly eager to show my friends or anything. Still though, I love it~. Very, very good job!
