Quick Tips: On Referencing AnatomyReference from real life whenever possible.squeedgemonster
When you reference or copy from another artist's studies/sketches/art, you may be copying their mistakes as well. Furthermore, an artist's studies are their notes and --just like with history or chemistry notes-- copying someone else's notes will not help you fully understand the material. To completely understand anatomy, you must take your own notes and build your own understanding through observation.
This is probably a no-brainer for many artists but... scruffynerfherder and I were talking about this last night, and with the increase of "anatomy studies" showing up on dA's front page, it's been on my mind. DA's resource category has some great material, but I also feel like there is a lot of misleading information taught by amateurs who really probably shouldn't be teaching things like shading or anatomy, because they have a less-than-stellar grasp on it themselves. I'm not trying to knock anyone here, but it's a bit tr
You can't say you can't!As a child I was a bright student, always used to grab among the first 3 positions in my class, teachers used to love me (I was never a teacher's pet though) and my mom and dad (specially dad) supported me with his heart and soul. We always have guidance/influence from others in some way or the other. I was fortunate enough to get them I guess. But there comes a time in your life where you need to move alone and build your own responsibilities, you need to make your own ways, you need make your own decisions and you need to choose the right path.CypherVisor
The world is cruel enough to pull you down every time you want to climb up. But you can't stop there. You have to move on. You can't say you can't!
I have seen a lot of phases in my life in the last 25 years. In deviantART everyone says they like the way I talk to people, the way I treat them and the way I guide them. May be I shouldn't use the word "everyone", perhaps it should be at least most of them says so.
I get a lot of people coming to

PKMN-Steam: Candlelight Exhibition Event RP LogEd: Curious and still carefully, the Aron entered the tent. It was his first time seeing such a show - sure, there have been some circus-shows back at home too, but he was always too busy working. But since he have done everything he could do for now... Edward just walked right to the first row of seats and sat down. His big blue eyes observing the whole tent. Even if you couldn't tell by the mask or in general, the Aron was excited. Nervously he grabbed a piece of scrap and chewed on it. Wondering who else will join the show...eternanyx
Jeremiah: The timing couldn’t of been more perfect. Upon arriving on the small island, the jumpluff had been through a mild culture shock. Everything was drastically different from back in Jhoto, and the lack of actual electricity had confused him slightly. After changing into his new clothes that have been provided courteously of the local seamstress at the local Inn, he happened to spot flyers and rumors of a
